The camera cuts to a shot of Tom Foolery and Preston Poppycock sitting at their announce table, looking ready to go.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING. The match is a best two out of three falls match, and there are no count-outs or disqualifications. Introducing first…from Mackay Australia…weighing in at 210 pounds…he is the current IWF World Heavyweight Champion…GORDON FURY!!!

The opening double kick drums and guitar riffs of “Honest Eyes” by Black Tide blast through the arena speakers and the fans all get on their feet in anticipation.  As the intensity increases at the second intro riff, the fans cheer loudly as Gordon Fury walks through the entrance curtain, his title draped over his left shoulder.  He flicks his hood back and riles up the fans from the stage, getting an even louder response.

"HATE!"

On that word Gordon fist pumps out in front of him, queuing a blast of pyro from behind him.

"I'm filled with hate,
And you will regret!
How did I get so lost?"

FIGHT!

I’ll win this fight,
Pull Myself out!
Save myself at all cost!"

Gordon pulls the title off his shoulder with his right hand and holds it as he slaps hands with the fans on his way down the ramp, constantly on the move, going to both sides of the ramp.

"Give me my,
My life back!

I will take what’s gone..."

Gordon gets to the ring and climbs the ring steps, before stepping onto the apron, turning so that he is facing away from the ring.

"How?
How'd we come this far?
Why did we survive?
I'd rather live my life through Honest Eyes!"

Gordon turns and leaps in one motion, landing straight on the second turnbuckle.  He then hoists the championship high in the air, causing an uproar of cheers.  

"Where did we go wrong?
What did we not see?
I'd rather live my life through Honest Eyes!"

Gordon then leaps off the turnbuckle and goes across the ring to the opposite corner, jumping up to the second turnbuckle, and riling up the fans again by holding the title up in the air.  He jumps down from the turnbuckle and hands the IWF Championship to the referee before taking off his hoodie and throwing it into the crowd. He then*waits for his opponent as the song fades out.

Preston Poppycock
Now see ‘ere, this is what’s unfair about dis whole fing. Gordon is the champion, so why does ‘e ‘ave to enter first?!

Tom Foolery
Well I think it’s because nobody is really sure if Brandon is going to show up tonight. He’s a wanted man you know?

Preston Poppycock
Dat’s another fing. How can IWF let Brandon compete if ‘e’s wanted for murder and is a drug lord? Makes no sense to me

Tom Foolery
Well be that as it may, Brandon is a phenomenal wrestler and deserves his spot here. I’m excited to see a great match between two fantabulous wrestlers.

Camera focuses in on the top of the stage, where Brandon Macdonald walks out, wearing his fighting shorts and his head covered in a towel. He bows his head before throwing the towel off of it and walking down the ring, smiling as the crowd boos at him. Brandon makes eye contact with Gordon in the ring and never breaks it

Brandon slides into the ring and walks towards one of the turnbuckles

Brandon climbs up one of the turnbuckles and holds a fist to the sky. He smacks his chest a few times, before pointing to the heavens. He jumps back down and does the same thing on the opposite turnbuckle

Heaven help in all our battles
Heaven see love, heaven help us

Brandon walks back to his corner and crouches down, staring at Gordon, grinning all the while, never once breaking eye contact with Gordon as the referee holds up the IWF Championship belt.

I ‘ope Gordon beats the living ‘ell out of Brandon

The referee makes sure both Brandon and Gordon are in their respective corners, before walking over and handing the IWF Championship belt to the timekeeper. The referee walks back into the middle of the ring and calls for the bell to begin the match.

Brandon Macdonald and Gordon Fury waste no time circling each other as they immediately run towards the center of the ring and tie up. Both men fight for position as neither one of them gives an inch. Brandon begins to push Gordon back into the ropes, pinning him there and trying to break free of Gordon’s grip. Brandon reaches back and slaps Gordon Fury in the chest multiple times, as the crowd boos loudly with each slap. Brandon takes a few steps back as Gordon charges at him and wastes no time in getting Brandon in the clinch and immediately delivering stiff knees to the head of Brandon. After five knees, Gordon releases Brandon, who takes a few steps back and laughs at Gordon, shaking his finger at him.

Brandon is letting Gordon know right away that those knee shots won’t be working tonight

Preston Poppycock
Gordon said ‘e would knee Brandon in the face until ‘e could pin ‘im. That’s exactly what ‘e’s tryna do!

Brandon runs at Gordon and takes him down to the mat with a heavy clothesline. Brandon rolls over and mounts Gordon and begins to deliver big clubbing blows to Gordon’s face. Brandon drops a few elbows as Gordon covers his face up, desperately trying to block the shots that Brandon is throwing. Gordon eventually rolls onto his back and as Brandon gets close to his head, Gordon throws an elbow, landing on Brandon’s head and causing him to fall backwards off of Gordon and onto the mat. Gordon pulls himself back to his feet as Brandon is also getting to his feet. The two men run at each other and tie up once again in the middle of the ring.

Well what did you expect em to do? You think that they’d just sit around and ‘ave a nice tea and crumpets date?

Brandon drops down to his knees and grabs the back of Gordon’s legs. Brandon trips Gordon over but catches him on his own shoulders. Brandon lifts Gordon up off of his shoulders and slams him down with a kneeling fireman’s carry slam. Brandon grabs onto Gordon’s arm and twists around, trying to immediately lock in an armbar. Gordon holds onto his own arm for dear life, desperately trying to prevent Brandon from locking in the armbar. Gordon eventually rolls over top of Brandon, causing Brandon to release Gordon’s arm. Gordon tries to grab Brandon’s arm mid roll, but Brandon manages to hold onto it and stop Gordon from locking in his own armbar. Gordon rolls all the way up to his feet and walks towards Brandon, going to pick him up. Brandon shoves Gordon away from him and stands back to his feet.

Oi that’s because Gordon is too good to be caught in that kind of nonsense ‘old by a nonsense wrestler

Brandon and Gordon slowly circle each other, this time not so eager to tie up. Gordon moves towards Brandon and throws a right hook. Brandon moves back to dodge the punch, and then throws a big leg kick that connects on the knee of Gordon. Brandon throws up a fake knee strike before swinging with a superman punch, but Gordon gets his hands up and blocks the punch. Gordon runs towards Brandon and ducks underneath a left hook and continues to run past Brandon. Gordon hits the ropes and rebounds, running back towards Brandon and jumping into the air and spinning around. Gordon lands a spinning heel kick to the head of Brandon, who can’t block it in time. Brandon falls to the ground as Gordon lands on both of his feet. Gordon immediately runs towards the ropes and bounces off of them. Gordon jumps and elbow drops the prone Brandon directly in the chest. Brandon rolls around the mat in pain as Gordon gets back to his feet.

Gordon seems to be getting a little bit of momentum here, we’ll have to see if he can hold onto it though

Of course ‘e will! E’s Gordon Fury, the IWF Champion! Oo’s the other guy again? Some old washed up gent?

Gordon shuffles behind Brandon, who is getting to his knees. Gordon runs and flips overtop of Brandon, grabbing his head mid-flip and slamming Brandon’s head face-first into the mat as he rotates down. Gordon stands up and immediately stomps on the back of Brandon’s head three times. Gordon makes his way to Brandon’s arms and begins to stomp those too, until Brandon rolls away. Gordon walks back over to Brandon and grabs him, lifting him back to his feet. Gordon grabs Brandon’s arm and tries to whip him across the ring. Brandon blocks Gordon and reverses it, whipping Gordon across the ring instead. Gordon hits the ropes and runs at Brandon, who drops to the mat as Gordon hops over-top of him. Gordon runs and jumps towards the ropes, landing on the second and springboarding back towards the center of the ring. Brandon is getting to his feet and looks up just in time to see Gordon flying through the air. Gordon wraps his arms around Brandon’s head and spikes him to the mat with a flying DDT.

Atta boy Gordon! You show ‘im ‘oos boss!

Gordon walks over to Brandon and tries to cover him, but Brandon throws Gordon off of him before the referee can even begin to count. Gordon gets to his feet and waits as Brandon slowly does the same. Once Brandon is standing, Gordon runs towards him and jumps. Brandon catches Gordon in midair and holds him on his shoulder. Brandon grins as he marches to the middle of the ring before powerslamming Gordon hard onto the mat. Brandon immediately begins to methodically stomp each limb of Gordon multiple times. Brandon grabs Gordon’s leg and lifts it up, before stomping on the back of his thigh multiple times. Brandon throws Gordon’s leg down on the mat and jumps over Gordon’s body and lands a legdrop across Gordon’s face.

Brandon is getting some much needed offense here in the early goings of this match, after taking a few lickings from Gordon already

I’d just as soon see ‘im get no offense at all. Brandon Macdonald is not my cup of tea

Yes, you’ve made that quite clear recently.

Brandon stands up and drops a knee onto the head of Gordon, who gets his fists up to partially block it. Brandon grabs Gordon buy the arm and lifts him up to his feet. Brandon grabs Gordon by the arm and whips him across the ring. Gordon rebounds and ducks underneath Brandon’s clothesline attempt. Gordon hits the ropes again but is met with a spinning clothesline from Brandon, sending Gordon flipping to the mat. Gordon slowly rolls over on the mat as Brandon takes a few steps back, before running and kicking him in the stomach. Brandon drops down and once again grabs onto Gordon’s arm and tries to lock in an armbar. But once again, Gordon manages to roll over and end up on top of Brandon. Gordon throws a few big hammerfists, but Brandon blocks them and shakes Gordon off of him. The two men stand up and stare down.

Oi I love me a good stare-down like that one. Come on Tom my boy, let’s stare down

Gordon moves towards Brandon, who throws a left uppercut. Gordon takes a step back, dodging the punch. Gordon then throws a kick that lands to the side of Brandon’s chest. Gordon moves forward and grabs the back of Brandon’s head, bringing it down onto his upcoming knee. Gordon’s knee staggers Brandon, as he tries to regain his balance. Gordon runs at Brandon and jumps, delivering a flying knee that connects with Brandon’s chest. Brandon stumbles back into the ropes, and Gordon immediately begins throwing punch after punch to Brandon’s midsection. Gordon takes a step back and throws a spinning back fist, but Brandon ducks underneath it and runs at Gordon, grabbing him around the waist, lifting Gordon up into the air, and then slamming him down powerfully. Brandon stands up and drops a fist onto the face of Gordon. Brandon picks Gordon up to his feet and whips him across the ring. Gordon rebounds off of the ropes and Brandon wraps his arms around Gordon, lifts him into the air, and slams him back down with a spinebuster.

It wasn’t that perfect, ‘e could use a lesson or two

Brandon reaches down and grabs onto Gordon, lifting him up and grabbing his arm. Brandon goes to whip Gordon across the ring, but doesn’t let go of Gordon’s arm. Instead, Brandon pulls Gordon back into a clothesline, taking Gordon to the ground. Brandon stands up and kicks Gordon hard in the ribs, before picking him back up again, and whipping him across the ring. Gordon hits the ropes but instead of rebounding off of them, he grabs onto them. Brandon sees this and runs at Gordon, looking to clothesline him out of the ring. Gordon ducks down at the last moment, as Brandon topples over the top rope. But Brandon holds on and lands on the ring apron. Brandon turns around to go back into the ring, but Gordon uses the ropes for leverage and kicks Brandon in the head, knocking him off of the apron and out of the ring.

A big time kick to the head of Brandon by Gordon there, and they’re outside the ring now!

Now we get to the bloody exciting part of the match! Everything goes outside that ring, I’m tellin’ you this is where Gordon will make ‘is mark.

Gordon follows Brandon outside the ring, as the referee follows both of them. Gordon grabs Brandon and throws him against the crowd barrier. Gordon punches Brandon a few times against the barrier. Gordon then begins to deliver stomp after stomp to Brandon, who slowly goes from a seated position, to lying down, trying to block Gordon’s stomps. Gordon relents and moves towards the ring apron. Gordon climbs onto the apron and turns around, so his back is to Brandon. Gordon waits for Brandon to get to his feet, and when he does, Gordon jumps onto the bottom rope, springboards and flips backwards in the air. Gordon rotates and smashes into Brandon, sending both men to the ground outside of the ring. Neither men move for a few seconds, before Gordon begins to get to his feet. Gordon grabs onto Brandon by the head and lifts him to his feet. Gordon tries to lift Brandon up to hit the Skyfall Guillotine, but Brandon manages to block it and shove Gordon off of him.

Gordon was oh-so-close to hitting the Skyfall Guillotine, but alas, it was not meant to be

‘E’ll get it next time. There’s only so much running Brandon can do mate. Eventually e’ll ‘ave to fight Gordon like a man

Gordon charges at Brandon, who moves out of the way, causing Gordon to smash face-first into the corner pole. Brandon grabs Gordon’s head and twists it around, before dropping to the ground and connecting with the twisting neckbreaker. Gordon rolls over as Brandon mounts Gordon’s back and punches him in the side of the head repeatedly. Brandon quickly switches to body punches, making Gordon move his hands in an attempt to block the strikes. As soon as Gordon moves his hands, Brandon drops down and locks his one arm underneath Gordon’s chin, around his throat. Brandon squeezes tightly, locking in the rear-naked choke. Gordon struggles against the choke, but Brandon has it locked in fairly deep. Gordon slowly struggles to his feet, as Brandon keeps the hold locked in. Gordon immediately backpedals, ramming Brandon backfirst into the edge of the ring apron. Brandon releases the hold and grabs at his back, while Gordon falls to a knee, gasping for air.

Brandon had that chokehold locked on for quite an amount of time, hopefully Gordon is going to be ok after that

Preson Poppycock
‘E’ll be fine. Brandon’s got no strength, bet it felt like ‘e ‘ad a turtleneck on

Brandon looks over at Preston, clearly having heard what he said. Brandon slowly pulls himself to his feet at the same time as Gordon. Brandon swings and connects with a punch to the skull of Gordon, sending him tumbling back into the announcers table. Brandon grabs the back of Gordon’s head and smashes it into the announcers table, causing Gordon to fall down to the ground.

So what? I can say whatever I wanna say. What’s ‘e gonna do to stop me? Smack me wit ‘is purse?

Brandon turns around and looks at Preston, who stares at him from his position behind the announce table. Brandon walks over to him and rips his headset off and starts yelling at him

Tom Foolery
It appears that Brandon did not take too kindly to the harsh words from my broadcast partner tonight.

Brandon and Preston continue to argue before Brandon laughs and goes to walk away, before spinning around and kicking Preson in the stomach. Brandon grabs Preston and delivers a huge flip piledriver, spiking Preson’s head off of the ground

Great Odin’s raven, what an impact!

Brandon stares down at Preston, who lies motionless on the ground as medical staff rush up to him and push Brandon out of the way. Brandon smirks as he backs off and watches as the team calls for a stretcher. Brandon walks back over to Gordon and goes to pick him up, but Gordon elbows Brandon in the stomach. Brandon doubles over as Gordon shoves Brandon back towards the announce table. Meanwhile, Preston is loaded up on the stretcher and taken away, but gives a thumbs up to the crowd signalling that he’s going to be ok.

Well it appears that I’ll be finishing this match on my own tonight. I warned Preston to watch his words but what do I know right?

Gordon spins around and hits a spinning back fist to Brandon’s face. Gordon grabs Brandon and throws him into the ring, making sure Brandon’s head is hanging over the edge of the apron, underneath the bottom rope. Gordon walks to the steps and climbs onto the apron. Gordon runs and jumps, landing a leg drop across Brandon’s head. Brandon rolls into the ring clutching his face as Gordon slides in after him. Gordon walks over to Brandon and goes for the cover.

ONE

Brandon easily kicks out of the pin attempt. Gordon stands up and grabs Brandon’s arm and lifts him to his feet. Gordon attempts to lift Brandon up over his head, but Brandon headbutts Gordon for his troubles, knocking him backwards. Brandon runs and clotheslines Gordon down to the mat. Brandon reaches down and lifts Gordon to his feet. Brandon kicks Gordon in the stomach and then hooks Gordon’s head. Brandon lifts Gordon up in the air and falls backwards, looking to hit a suplex. Gordon somehow manages to land on his feet and spins around and jumps in the air. Gordon gets his leg over the head of Brandon in mid-air, falling on top of Brandon with the leg drop.

Now that was a creative leg drop by Gordon. He always seems to pull these innovative moves out from his bag of tricks in every match he’s in

Gordon gets to his feet and waits and motions for Brandon to stand back up. As he does, Gordon runs and bounces off of the ropes. Gordon jumps into the air and delivers a flying crossbody to Brandon, who manages to catch Gordon in mid-air. Brandon lifts Gordon over his head in a military press, before dropping Gordon behind him. Gordon smashes chest first onto the mat as Brandon turns around. Brandon drops down and grabs Gordon by the neck and tries to lift him into a seated position. Gordon blocks a headlock attempt by Brandon and slowly gets to his feet, holding Brandon’s head against his own. Gordon drops down and hits the mat, so that Brandon’s chin smashes into the top of Gordon’s head. Brandon falls backwards to the mat.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have just gotten word that my partner Preston Poppycock, while in good shape, will not be able to return tonight, as they are going to be keeping him for evaluation. However he’ll be in tip top shape for out next Battlegrounds show. Gordon waits for Brandon to stand up, and again bounces off the ropes. Gordon jumps into the air, and this time connects on his flying crossbody, taking Brandon down and sending him rolling out of the ring. Gordon climbs onto the ring apron, and then onto the top of the turnbuckle, where he perches himself, staring down at Brandon, who is slowly getting to his feet. Gordon waits until Brandon is standing up, before jumping off of the turnbuckle and flipping into the air. Gordon lands on Brandon’s shoulders, locks his legs around Brandon’s head, and then flips backwards again. Gordon lands the successful flying dragonrana, causing Brandon’s head to spike on the floor outside of the ring. Gordon gets to his feet and walks over to the crowd barrier. Gordon climbs onto the crowd barrier and balances on it. Gordon jumps off and looks to land a knee drop across Brandon’s chest. Brandon rolls out of the way at the last second, causing Gordon to smash his knee onto the floor.

After a fantastic dragonrana by Gordon, Brandon manages to buy himself some time to recover with that

Calvin Jones
Brandon is an expert at picking the exact right moments to avoid a strike. Years of experience in that ring as well as mixed martial arts fighting

Brandon gets to his feet and walks over to Gordon. Brandon grabs Gordon’s leg and lifts it into the air, before throwing it down to the floor, causing Gordon’s already hurt knee to hit first. Gordon yells in pain as Brandon does the same thing again. Brandon goes to do it a third time, but Gordon manages to twist around and kick Brandon away from him. Gordon turns around and gets to his feet, but Brandon immediately dives down and takes Gordon out with a chopblock to the back of Gordon’s knee. Gordon tumbles to the ground as Brandon immediately follows him and attempts to lock in a knee bar. Gordon manages to kick Brandon away from him. Gordon slowly scrambles back to his feet and moves towards Brandon, throwing a right hook. Brandon drops to his knees and throws a stiff jab to Gordon’s midsection. Brandon immediately powers forward, wrapping his arms around Gordon’s waist, and rag-doll tosses Gordon into the crowd barrier.

Good lord, look at the strength shown there by Brandon, he just tossed Gordon like he was a mannequin in a cheap suit!

Calvin Jones
While Gordon would have a big speed advantage in this match, Brandon is clearly the much stronger of the two men, and he’s showing it right there  

Brandon grabs Gordon and lifts him onto his shoulder. Brandon runs and drives Gordon back-first into the corner of the ring. Gordon tries to escape, but Brandon takes a few steps back and rams Gordon once more. Brandon releases Gordon for a moment before hooking his head. Gordon fights it, but Brandon still manages to lift Gordon up into the air and drop him backwards, landing a big suplex on the ring floor. Brandon stands up and grabs Gordon by the head, bringing him to his feet. Brandon locks Gordon into a full nelson hold, shaking Gordon around to prove that Gordon cannot break out of it. As Gordon tries to fight the hold, Brandon suddenly lifts Gordon into the air and smashes him down with a full nelson slam.

Now that’s what I call a full-nelson slam

Calvin Jones
Gordon needs to get back to his type of match. Fast paced, constantly pushing the action. If he lets Brandon manhandle him like this for too long, it’s as good as done

Brandon drops down and goes to cover Gordon, who kicks out after just a one count. Brandon stands back up and grabs Gordon, lifting him to his feet. Brandon kicks Gordon in the stomach and drags him over to the steel steps. Brandon throws Gordon hard into the steps, causing Gordon to fall to the ground and slump up against the steps. Brandon smirks and takes a few steps back. Brandon runs and looks to spear Gordon into the steps. Gordon quickly falls out of the way, and Brandon smashes shoulder first into the steel steps. The top layer of steps fall away as Brandon rolls on top of the bottom layer, holding his shoulder. Gordon slowly gets to his feet and stomps on Brandon repeatedly. Gordon grabs Brandon and picks him up. Gordon rolls Brandon into the ring, and then slides in himself. As Brandon gets to his feet, Gordon runs at Brandon and spears him hard. Gordon immediately goes for the pin.

Calvin Jones
In a match this big, you better believe that it’s going to take a lot more than that to keep Brandon down for three.

Brandon throws Gordon off of him and stands back up to his feet. Gordon runs at Brandon and grabs onto his head. Gordon quickly trips Brandon and falls backwards, delivering a DDT. Brandon rolls onto his back as Gordon immediately stands up and runs towards the corner of the ring. Gordon climbs onto the top rope and jumps off, delivering an elbow drop to the chest of Brandon. Gordon immediately rolls over and tries to lock in an armbar on Brandon, who easily blocks it and rolls over. Gordon punches Brandon in the face a few times, before standing back up to his feet. As Brandon gets up, Gordon runs at him and kicks him hard in the stomach, sending Brandon right back down to the ground. Gordon sits on Brandon’s back and wraps Brandon’s legs between his legs. Gordon reaches up and wraps his arms around Brandon’s face, trying to make him submit with this camel clutch. Brandon manages to get his arms free and break Gordon’s grip on his head.

Brandon gets to his feet as Gordon runs and delivers a series of quick jabs and knee strikes to Brandon, sending him stumbling backwards on the defensive. Gordon grabs Brandon by the head and looks to hit yet another DDT. But this time Brandon avoids the trip by Gordon, and instead flips and delivers a huge ranhei. Brandon holds onto Gordon’s leg as the referee drops down to count the pin.

Gordon powers out of the leveraged pin attempt by Brandon and gets back to his feet. Gordon grabs onto Brandon, who pushes Gordon away from him. Brandon runs and delivers a flying knee to the chest of Gordon, knocking him backwards into the ropes. Brandon grabs Gordon’s head and springboards off of the second rope, flipping in the air and slamming Gordon face-first into the mat. Brandon crawls over to Gordon and yet again twists his arm around, looking for an armbar submission. Gordon rolls over once more, but this time Brandon is expecting it. Brandon throws his legs up and gets Gordon into a triangle choke. It’s not quite locked in as Gordon struggles to prevent it. Brandon tries with all his might to lock it in on Gordon, who slowly moves towards the ropes. Gordon grabs the ropes and uses them to pull himself over the bottom rope and out of the ring, causing Brandon to release the hold.

Now that was a show of brains by Gordon. In this match, there are essentially no rules, which means no rope breaks. Gordon knows that, and instead of waiting for the ref to break the hold, he used the ropes to pull himself out of the ring, actually forcing Brandon to release it. Incredible smarts.

Gordon takes a minute to regain himself before sliding back into the ring. Immediately he’s hit with stomps and kicks from Brandon, who doesn’t give Gordon even a second to breath. Gordon eventually fights his way back to his feet, where he manages to land a few good shots to the head of Brandon, sending him stumbling backwards. Gordon runs at Brandon and looks to deliver a spear. But Brandon flips overtop of Gordon, grabbing him on the way, and spikes Gordon onto his head with a flip piledriver out of nowhere! Brandon immediately crawls over and looks to pin Gordon, as the referee counts.

So close but Gordon avoids losing the first fall after that move

Brandon grabs Gordon and lifts him up to his feet. Brandon immediately lands a stiff uppercut to the jaw of Gordon. Brandon takes a step back and delivers a massive high kick to Gordon’s head, rocking him. Brandon immediately pounces and tackles Gordon, dragging him to the ground. Brandon begins to throw wild hammerfists and elbows, trying to destroy the face of Gordon, who is blocking most of the shots. Brandon then turns his attention to delivering big knees to the ribs of Gordon, who tries to escape from the bottom position. Brandon stands up and allows Gordon to slowly do the same. Brandon goes to hit a big suplex on Gordon, who out of nowhere grabs Brandon and delivers an inverted single knee facebreaker to the back of Brandon’s neck. Gordon drops down and goes for the cover himself.

Brandon lives to fight another day! That was close

Brandon manages to kick out of the pin. Gordon gets back to his feet and waits for Brandon to stand up. When he does, Gordon runs at Brandon and goes for a spear. Brandon manages to vault overtop of the oncoming Gordon. As Brandon lands on his feet, he turns around to see what happened. Brandon is immediately hit with a jumping back heel kick by Gordon, who had stopped himself from crashing into the corner. Gordon grabs the back of Brandon’s head and immediately begins to deliver knee after knee to the face of Brandon, who desperately tries to escape Gordon’s grip. Eventually they hit the ropes and Brandon shoves Gordon off of him. Brandon runs at Gordon in a clothesline attempt, but Gordon ducks underneath it. As Brandon turns around, Gordon jumps and dropkicks Brandon in the knee, taking him down to the mat. Gordon runs and jumps into the air, double foot stomping across Brandon’s chest.

Gordon grabs Brandon and directed him up to his feet. Gordon throws an uppercut and then a right hook, staggering Brandon. Gordon runs and springboards off of the second rope and delivers a shining wizard to Brandon, knocking him down to one knee. Gordon gets back to his feet and delivers a big buzzsaw kick to Brandon’s head, knocking him to the mat. Gordon picks Brandon up to his feet and twists him around, before hitting a reverse falcon arrow into a knee to Brandon’s face. Brandon falls to the mat hard. Gordon goes towards Brandon and rolls him up for the pin. As Brandon struggles to escape, Gordon reaches out and grabs onto the ropes for extra leverage as the referee counts.

Gordon releases Brandon and rolls out of the way. Brandon slowly gets up and yells at the referee, even though there was nothing he could have done. As Brandon is busy yelling at the referee, Gordon runs and dropkicks Brandon in the back, sending him tumbling over the top rope and outside the ring. Gordon slides out of the ring and follows Brandon, who is crawling towards the timekeepers booth. Brandon reaches for a steel chair, and just gets his hands on one as Gordon grabs him by the leg. As Gordon drags Brandon back out towards the ring floor, Brandon spins around and jabs Gordon in the stomach with the steel chair. Gordon releases Brandon and stumbles backwards. Brandon gets to his feet and walks over to Gordon. Brandon rears the chair back and smashes it hard into Gordon’s back, causing him to fall onto his hands and knees.

After Gordon pulled off a usually illegal move, Brandon decided to go for broke, and bring a chair into the match. And it’s definitely working in his favor!

Brandon takes a few steps back and runs at Gordon, kicking him hard in the stomach and knocking him onto his back. Brandon opens the chair and places it around Gordon’s head, before closing it. Brandon walks over to the announcers table and stands up on top of it. Brandon runs and jumps off of it, looking to stomp on the steel chair that’s wrapped around Gordon’s head. Gordon manages to move in the nick of time as Brandon lands on his feet. Gordon picks up the chair and turns around. Brandon runs at Gordon and spears the steel chair that Gordon is holding near his waist, smashing it into Gordon and sending both men into the crowd barrier and actually knocking it right over.

It takes a lot of force to knock those over. I’m amazed that both men are going to be able to get up after that one

The two men lay in the crowd as security moves in to make sure that none of the fans try to get involved. Both Gordon and Brandon slowly get to their feet at the same time, and begin to trade punches as they walk up the stairs. Brandon ducks underneath a punch thrown by Gordon and kicks him in the side. Brandon grabs Gordon’s head and smashes it hard into the railing on the staircase. Gordon stumbles around as Brandon grabs him and throws him into the railing, causing Gordon to hit it and flip over-top of it, landing on the staircase on the other side of the railing. Brandon steps over and grabs Gordon in a headlock, dragging him up the ramp and towards one of the tunnels to the concourse. Gordon struggles and tries to escape the hold, but Brandon manages to hold onto it. The two men reach the top of the stairs and begin to walk down the concourse. Gordon suddenly stops and manages to break free of Brandon’s headlock. Gordon wraps Brandon’s head up with his rams and delivers a big Russian leg sweep onto the floor.

I saw it, but I’m not sure I believe it!

Brandon’s head bounces off of the floor and he rolls over onto his stomach, holding his head in pain. Gordon gets to his feet and grabs Brandon, lifting him to his feet. Brandon throws a punch but Gordon ducks underneath it. Gordon grabs Brandon and throws him down the rest of the tunnel. As Brandon slowly himself down and turns around, he’s hit with a huge spear from Gordon. Brandon rolls around on the ground holding his stomach as Gordon stands up to his feet. Gordon walks over to Brandon and stomps on his head. Gordon stomps on Brandon’s arm, and then his legs, and then his other arm. Gordon then drops an elbow onto the chest of Brandon. Gordon stands up and delivers another elbow drop. Gordon once again stands up, and completes the trifecta of elbow drops. Gordon stands up as Brandon rolls onto his stomach and gets to his hands and knees. Gordon runs and goes to punt kick Brandon in the skull, but Brandon just manages to get out of the way and avoid the kick.

He’s just trying to win this match Tom, and he’ll do whatever it takes!

Gordon turns around just in time for Brandon to tackle him and drive him full force into the wall. Gordon tries to escape as Brandon continuously drives his shoulder into Gordon’s stomach. Gordon drives his elbow in the back of Brandon, who eventually releases Gordon from the wall. Gordon runs and tries to deliver a drive by knee to Brandon’s head as he’s bent over, but Brandon catches Gordon’s knee in mid-air and swings him around by the leg, throwing Gordon over a merchandise stand and smashing through the wall of t-shirts and other clothes behind the stand. Brandon walks over to and climbed over the merchandise table. Brandon reaches down and grabs Gordon and lifts him up. Brandon positions Gordon in front of the table. Brandon sets up for a flip piledriver, but with his head between Brandon’s legs, Gordon powers up, sending Brandon flipping over top of him and landing on the table. Brandon hits the table hard, but it doesn’t break.

Those tables are built pretty sturdy, it would take a lot of force to break one of those

Gordon looks behind him and sees Brandon lying on the table. Gordon climbs up onto the table and grabs Brandon by the head. Gordon lifts Brandon up to his feet and goes to pick him up. Brandon knees Gordon in the stomach a few times, causing Gordon to release Brandon. As he does so, Brandon ducks down and grabs a hold of Gordon, lifting Gordon onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Brandon throws Gordon off of his shoulders, holding onto his head, and drops down, delivering an F-5 to Gordon that sends him smashing right through the table. Both men lie in the wreckage that was once the merchandise table.

That was a vicious F-5 from Brandon. One of his signature moves. Now can he take advantage of a clearly injured Gordon and tie up the match?

Brandon slowly gets to his feet and shakes his head, trying to get rid of all the cobwebs. Brandon grabs Gordon and drags him up to his feet. Brandon throws Gordon across the concourse, Gordon stumbling and falling to the ground. Brandon runs and slide tackle kicks Gordon in the side. Brandon gets up and drags Gordon by the foot over towards a group of fans. Brandon picks Gordon up and tries to grab onto his head, but Gordon shoves Brandon out of the way and walks towards the fans, trying to escape through them. Brandon shakes his head and grabs Gordon and spins him around. Gordon tosses a cup of beer that he grabbed from a fan right into Brandon’s face. As Brandon covers his face and tries to wipe the beer out of his eyes, Gordon jumps up and delivers a spinning back heel kick, knocking Brandon backwards into the concession booth counter. Brandon holds onto the counter for support so that he doesn’t fall down. Gordon gets to his feet and runs at Brandon, jumping and hitting a jumping leg lariat on Brandon, driving the back of his head into the concession booth counter.

His head got sandwiched there, Brandon’s definitely losing some brain cells

Gordon grabs Brandon and drags him towards the escalator. Gordon goes to throw Brandon onto the moving handle belt, but Brandon manages to fight out of Gordon’s grip. Brandon uses his strength to overpower Gordon and shove him backwards onto the escalator. Gordon falls onto the escalator belt and slowly is moved down towards the main level, as Brandon stands on top of the escalator catching his breath. As Gordon reaches the bottom, he gets off the escalator and begins to stumble away. Brandon sees this and climbs onto the escalator. Brandon runs as fast as he can down the elevated middle partition of the escalator. As he reaches the bottom, Brandon leaps into the air towards Gordon, who turns around just in time to get taken down to the ground with Brandon’s suicide dive. Both men lay on the floor as security continues to hold off anyone from getting too close to the wrestlers.

These two men are taking this fight throughout the entire Yankee stadium. This is something else!

Brandon eventually began to get to his feet as Gordon slowly starts to crawl away. Brandon limps towards Gordon and grabs him by the head. Brandon puts Gordon in a headlock and begins to walk with him towards a big door. Brandon tosses Gordon into the door, and Gordon flies right through it and falls onto the concrete ground. Brandon walks out the door into the parking lot as Gordon slowly gets to his feet. Brandon runs at Gordon and wraps him up at the waist. Gordon desperately tries to hold his ground, trying to not let Brandon lift him up in the air. Brandon releases Gordon and lands some big knees to the chest and stomach of Gordon, before dropping down and attempting to pick Gordon up again. This time Brandon is successful and lifts Gordon up onto his shoulder. Brandon runs and slams Gordon down back-first onto the hood of a car, denting it with the force of the slam.

Look at the dent in that car that Gordon’s body caused. He’ll be feeling that one for a while

Brandon grabs Gordon and lifts him off of the car hood. Brandon gets Gordon’s head between his legs and then lifts Gordon up onto his shoulders. Brandon goes to powerbomb Gordon onto the car, but Gordon manages to vault over Brandon’s head just before he is slammed down. Gordon lands on his feet behind Brandon and spins around, as Brandon turns around to look for Gordon. Brandon tries to grab onto Gordon, but eats a left hook for his troubles. Gordon runs at Brandon and dives for his waist. Gordon wraps his arms around the waist of Brandon, and this time it’s Gordon’s turn to lift Brandon up into the air and powerslam him down onto the car.

Can we just stop and appreciate the punishment that these two men are putting each other through in the name of the IWF Championship? It’s truly phenomenal

Gordon catches his breath as Brandon slowly rolls off of the damaged car hood and onto the concrete floor. Brandon slowly begins to crawl away as Gordon sees what is happening. Gordon follows Brandon and grabs onto him. Brandon surprises Gordon with a back elbow and then a headbutt. Brandon grabs Gordon and scoops him up in the air before powerslamming him back onto the ground. Brandon jumps up in the air and delivers a knee drop to the face of Gordon. Brandon stands up and stomps on the chest of Gordon a few times. Brandon walks over to one of the cars and rolls the window all the way up on the door. Brandon walks back towards Gordon and picks him up. Brandon tries to whip Gordon headfirst into the glass window of the car, but Gordon manages to block it. Gordon instead uses Brandon’s momentum to whip him into the metal door frame of the car. Brandon hits the car and bounces off of it. Gordon grabs Brandon from behind and lifts Brandon up for a reverse falcon arrow. As Brandon falls to the ground, Gordon gets his knee up and drives it into Brandon’s face. Brandon falls to the ground as Gordon drops down and goes to cover him.

Brandon just manages to kick out in time. Gordon smashes his fists on the ground and looks at the referee, who holds up two fingers. Gordon gets up and looks down at Brandon, who is barely moving. Gordon begins to walk away off camera, as the shot stays focused on Brandon. Eventually Brandon begins to stand up, and looks around for Gordon. A car is heard starting as Brandon turns around. Gordon drives a car as fast as he can towards Brandon, who just manages to jump up and roll off of the car windshield, over top of the car, and land on the ground. Gordon crashes the car into another one, and gets out slowly, looking back at Brandon. Gordon walks towards Brandon, who is crawling towards a door. Gordon goes to grab onto Brandon, but instead Brandon pulls Gordon down into a gogoplata submission hold. Gordon desperately tries to fight the hold, but Brandon puts as much pressure as he can on it. Gordon reaches out in one last desperation move and grabs a garbage can that’s near the door. Gordon throws the garbage can on top of Brandon, causing him to release the hold.

I think you’re missing the fact that Gordon just HIT BRANDON WITH A CAR! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! AND HE STILL MANAGES TO LOCK IN A SUBMISSION.

Brandon slowly rolls to his feet as Gordon holds his throat, coughing. Brandon grabs the trashcan and empties it onto the ground. Brandon runs and kicks Gordon in the knee, before taking the garbage can and smashing it down on top of Gordon, so that it covers most of his body. Before Gordon has a chance to get the garbage can off of him, Brandon jumps up and dropkicks the trashcan, knocking Gordon to the ground hard. Gordon throws the trashcan off of his body and rolls around on the ground in pain. Brandon walks over and grabs the garbage can and then walks back towards Gordon. As Gordon gets to his hands and knees, Brandon smashes the trashcan into Gordon’s spine. Gordon falls to the ground and tries to get up again, but once more Brandon smashes it into Gordon’s back. Brandon tosses the garbage can away and picks Gordon up to his feet. Brandon drags Gordon over to a truck and smashes his head into it. Brandon walks over to the back of the truck and opens it, smashing the door into the body of Gordon and knocking him to the ground. Brandon looks inside the truck and sees a bunch of ladders all piled inside.

For the earlier ladder match of course! Better to have extra ladders than not enough

Brandon grabs a ladder from the truck and pulls it out and throws it onto the ground. Brandon grabs another fifteen foot ladder and sets it up near the truck. Brandon grabs the other ladder and holds it across his chest. Brandon sees Gordon getting to his feet, and runs at him, with the full intention of smashing the ladder across Gordon’s face. Gordon at the last second dives down and clips Brandon at the knees, causing Brandon to flip over-top of Gordon and land head-first onto his own ladder. Brandon rolls off of the ladder and holds his face in pain as blood slowly begins to drip out of a cut on his forehead. Gordon stands up and walks over to the ladder, picking it up and then walking back towards Brandon. Gordon lifts the ladder up over his head, before throwing it down on top of Brandon. Gordon picks the ladder up again and throws it on Brandon one more time. Gordon grabs the end of the ladder and places Brandon’s knee on top of one side of the ladder. Gordon lifts the other side up, before throwing it down with all his force. Brandon yells in pain as his knee is sandwiched between the two sides of the ladder.

Brandon injured his ACL two years ago in a match with Chuck Matthews, and ever since, opponents have tried their hardest to target it. Gordon’s been successful tonight

Brandon rolls around clutching his knee as Gordon stands up. Gordon walks over to Brandon and stomps his knee a few times. Gordon then jumps and leg drops Brandon’s head. Gordon stands back up and walks over to the big ladder that Brandon had set up. Gordon begins to climb the ladder, until he reaches the top. Gordon looks down at Brandon, who is slowly getting to his feet. Gordon waits until Brandon is standing, before jumping off of the ladder. Gordon lands on Brandon’s shoulders and hooks his feet around Brandon’s head, going for the hurricanrana. Brandon somehow manages to break Gordon’s foot grip, before powerbombing Gordon down onto the ladder. Gordon immediately rolls around on the ground clutching his back as Brandon drops down to a knee, trying to catch his breath. Gordon slowly gets to his feet, still holding his back. Gordon sees Brandon still on his knee and walks over to him. Gordon grabs Brandon and twists him around, looking to hit his reverse falcon arrow. But Brandon backflips over Gordon, grabbing his head and delivering his own sonjay cutter to Gordon. Brandon immediately drops down and hooks the leg of Gordon.

It’s not quite enough! How in the world did Gordon kick out of that one?

Brandon gets up and grabs Gordon by the arm, dragging him over to a car. Brandon opens the door of the car and smashes it into Gordon’s head. Brandon grabs Gordon and drags him over to the doorway. Brandon sits Gordon up against the car, so that his head is resting inside the car. Brandon goes and grabs the car door and slams it shut as hard as he can. Luckily Gordon manages to duck down and just narrowly avoid getting his head crushed by the car door. Brandon kicks Gordon in the ribs a few times as Gordon crawls towards the door that leads backstage. Brandon watches Gordon crawl away, and then looks at the car beside him. Brandon turns around and looks at the doors to the outside of the arena. Brandon looks back and forth between Gordon and the doors. Finally Brandon shakes his head and walks back towards Gordon. Brandon grabs Gordon and launches him through the doorway into the backstage area.

Brandon was looking at the door, as if thinking about making an escape, but decides against it and returns back to Gordon

That shows serious dedication to this match. Remember, Brandon is going to be arrested after this match. He had a chance to escape and attempt to run away, but he would rather finish this match like a man. As hard as it is, you have to respect him for that

Brandon follows Gordon through the doors and walks backstage. Gordon is on his feet now, walking towards the opposite wall. Brandon grabs the fire extinguisher off of the wall beside him and walks back towards Gordon. Brandon turns on the fire extinguisher and sprays it all over Gordon’s face. Brandon then takes the extinguisher and smashes it hard into the stomach of Gordon. Brandon lifts the extinguisher up in the air and smashes it hard into the back of Gordon, sending him down to the ground. Brandon reaches down and lifts Gordon up to his feet. Brandon looks to lift Gordon up in the air, but Gordon reaches out and pokes Brandon in the eyes. Brandon lets go of Gordon, who immediately begins walking away, towards a big three-level construction scaffolding set in the hallway. Brandon finally opens his eyes and sees Gordon walking towards the scaffolding and begins to follow.

Oh I think he is Tom. We’re in for a treat here

Gordon gets to the scaffolding and begins to climb up to the top level. Brandon eventually makes it to the scaffolding as well and begins to climb it himself. Gordon reaches the top of the scaffolding and walks to the other side, waiting for Brandon to arrive. Once Brandon gets to the top and stands up, Gordon runs at Brandon, throwing wild punches. Brandon dodges most of them, but Gordon manages to get his hands behind Brandon’s head and get the muay thai clinch. Gordon begins to deliver big knees to the skull of Brandon, who tries to block them. Brandon overpowers Gordon and gets his own clinch on Gordon, and begins to throw his own knees. Gordon grabs Brandon’s legs, trying to stop the onslaught of knees. Brandon grabs Gordon and lifts him up for a falling forward side slam, but Gordon manages to hook Brandon’s head on the way down and deliver a huge impact DDT that sends both men crashing through the wooden floor of the scaffolding. Gordon and Brandon break through all three levels of the scaffolding as they fall, before finally hitting the floor hard.

DDT through all three levels of that scaffolding! Look at all the broken pieces of wood surrounding the two warriors. Did I really just see that?

Neither man moves for a few minutes after that impact. The referee checks on both men, who are lying in a pile of wooden wreckage. A large group of IWF superstars walks over to look at the two men. Gordon begins to stir and slowly pulls himself to his feet. Brandon eventually does the same and the two men meet up in the middle of a circle made by the IWF superstars watching. Brandon and Gordon tie up and try throwing punches and elbows, but most of the shots are blocked. They separate, and Brandon runs at Gordon, looking to deliver a high knee. It connects to Gordon’s chest and sends Gordon stumbling backwards. Brandon runs at him and jumps up again, but this time Gordon dodges the flying knee. As Brandon lands and turns around, he’s hit by a spinning back fist thrown by Gordon. Brandon falls backwards as Gordon pounces, throwing big hooks that Brandon can’t block. Gordon pressures Brandon, who is forced to pull guard and force Gordon to stop punching. Brandon reaches up and manages to hook in a choke on Gordon, who accidentally put himself in a vulnerable position with his continued punches.

Brandon has that choke locked in deep, Gordon needs to do something quick, or else he’s out

Again, Gordon left himself vulnerable for only a second, and Brandon took advantage. Even after taking this kind of beating, Brandon still has the wherewithal to pull that choke off

Gordon gets to his feet as Brandon continues to hold the choke in, his legs wrapped tightly around Gordon to prevent Gordon from escaping. Gordon starts to run at a wall, but Brandon releases his legs and lands on his feet, still holding Gordon in a choke however. Brandon uses Gordon’s momentum to trip him and deliver a DDT onto the floor. Gordon’s head bounces off of the floor and he rolls onto his back. Brandon crawls over and covers Gordon, looking to even up the fall count. The referee drops down and begins to count.

That’s the champion desire right there Tom. Anyone doubting that Gordon Fury was championship material can eat their words after this match, win or lose.

Brandon gets up to his feet and grabs Gordon, throwing him out towards the stage entrance, which they had walked over to. The IWF Superstars watch closely but don’t go out onto the stage as Brandon kicks Gordon out to where all the fans can see him. Brandon turns around and looks at all of the IWF wrestlers, who slowly back away from him, looking afraid. Brandon cracks a grin and waves goodbye to all of them, as he quickly walks out onto the ramp after seeing SWAT team members approaching from a distance. Brandon walks onto the stage as he looks around for Gordon. Suddenly Gordon appears behind Brandon and yells at him. Brandon turns around as Gordon runs and jumps at Brandon, corkscrewing in the air and delivering an elbow smash to the head of Brandon, knocking him to the ground. Gordon gets to his feet as Brandon slowly does the same. Gordon grabs Brandon and lifts him up in the air, before delivering an inverted single knee facebreaker to the back of Brandon’s neck. Gordon drops down and goes to cover Brandon, as the referee follow Gordon to the ground.

Gordon slams his fists into the stage and looks at the referee, who holds his ground. Gordon stands up frustrated and walks a few steps away from Brandon. Gordon motions for Brandon to get to his feet. Brandon slowly gets to his hands and knees, before falling back down again and looking over at Gordon. Brandon slowly begins to stand again as Gordon motions for the crowd to cheer. They respond as Gordon begins to clap while Brandon gets to his feet. As Brandon turns around, Gordon begins to run at Brandon, lowering himself for a giant spear. But just before Gordon connects with the tackle, Brandon delivers one of the hardest knee shots ever witnessed, connecting directly with the skull of Gordon and sending him crumpling to the stage. Brandon drops to his knees, rolls Gordon over, and covers him. The referee drops down and counts.

Gordon is completely out cold. I have never seen such a vicious knee in my entire life. I’m surprised Gordon’s skull didn’t just cave in.

Brandon stands up and looks down at Gordon. Brandon reaches down and pulls Gordon to his feet and lifts Gordon up onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Brandon walks down to the ring, as suddenly about thirty SWAT team members in full tactical gear walk out from backstage and begin to walk down the ramp and stand around the crowd barriers. FBI and DEA agents walk down the ramp and stand there, clearly wanting to make sure that Brandon does not get another chance to escape. Brandon throws Gordon into the ring and then turns around and grins at one of the FBI agents. Brandon then slides back into the ring and crawls over to Gordon. Brandon hooks Gordon’s leg as the referee drops down to count what could be the final pin.

Gordon kicks out of the pin, wiping the grin off of Brandon’s face as he looks down at Gordon in shock. Brandon drops down and immediately covers Gordon again, but again Gordon kicks out after two. Brandon grows frustrated and grabs Gordon by the head and lifts him up onto his feet. Brandon kicks Gordon in the stomach and positions Gordon between his legs. Brandon prepares to hit a flip piledriver but as he jumps, Gordon manages to power through and send Brandon flipping over top of him. Brandon lands on the mat hard as Gordon stumbles to the ropes and holds on to regain his balance. Brandon slowly gets to his feet and runs at Gordon, who suddenly jumps up and knocks Brandon back to the mat with a dropkick. Brandon gets to his feet and Gordon again takes him down with a dropkick. Brandon stands up once more, and yet again, Gordon delivers a final dropkick that sends Brandon rolling across the ring.

Match of the year, and we’re not even done yet!

Gordon slowly gets to his feet and walks over to Brandon, lifting him up. Brandon immediately grabs onto Gordon and goes to lift him up in the air. But once Brandon has Gordon on his shoulder, Gordon reaches over and grabs the top rope. Brandon runs to slam Gordon, but Gordon’s grip on the rope causing Brandon to release him. Gordon lands on his feet behind Brandon, who turns around. As Brandon turns around, Gordon jumps and delivers a huge head kick that connects directly with Brandon’s jaw, knocking him flat to the mat. Gordon falls to a knee for a moment before standing up and walking in front of Brandon. Gordon waits for Brandon to get to his knees, and when he does, Gordon runs and jumps, delivering a huge enzuguiri, knocking Brandon back down to the mat. Gordon stands back up as the crowd cheers loudly in support of Gordon.

I think the sight of the SWAT team reminded them of the horrific acts Brandon has been accused of, and made them remember that they didn’t want to be seen cheering for him

Gordon walks slowly over to Brandon and lifts him to his feet. Gordon grabs Brandon by the arm and whips him across the ring. Brandon rebounds off of the ropes and runs at Gordon, who vaults over top of him. Brandon goes to rebound off of the ropes again, but instead grabs onto them, and safely flips himself over the top rope and onto the outside floor, to catch his breath. Gordon sees this and looks around for a moment, as the crowd cheers him on. Gordon runs and vaults over the top rope, backflipping through the air, landing on Brandon’s head and hooking it down for a gigantic impact DDT. Brandon’s head bounces off of the floor as Gordon hits the ground and rolls away. Brandon is motionless as Gordon slowly gets to his feet, the crowd cheering him on loudly.

Gordon is in complete control of this match. All he has to do is pin Brandon and he’ll retain the IWF Championship and prove all the doubters wrong!

I wasn’t sure if Gordon could pull this off, but now I’m more convinced than ever. He’s turned me into a believer.

Gordon walks over to Brandon and grabs him by the arm and guides him up to his feet. Gordon whips Brandon hard into the crowd barrier near the announcer’s table, as the SWAT team officers move out of the way. They seem content to let the match go however it goes, so long as they get Brandon afterwards. Gordon follow Brandon, who is slumped up on the crowd barrier. Gordon drives his knee into Brandon’s head three times, before lifting Brandon up and dragging him by the head towards the announcers table. Gordon grabs the back of Brandon’s head and slams it down into the edge of the announcers table. Gordon repeats the head slamming a few times, before Brandon gets his arms up and blocks it. Brandon elbows Gordon in the head, causing Gordon to take a few steps back. As Brandon turns around, Gordon immediately dropkicks Brandon in the chest, knocking him backwards onto the announcers table.

Gordon is swarming him, not even giving Brandon a chance to breath

Brandon slowly gets to his feet as Gordon climbs onto the announcers table beside him. Both men stare each other down, standing on the Spanish announcers table. Brandon spreads his arms wide as Gordon stares at him. Brandon looks at Gordon and slaps him in the face. Gordon immediately unleashes with punches to the head and body of Brandon, trying to punish him for the slap. Brandon manages to get a grip around the waist of Gordon and goes to lift him up in the air, but Gordon finally manages to block one of Brandon’s takedowns. Gordon elbows the back of Brandon’s head multiple times, causing Brandon to release his grip on Gordon’s waist. Gordon gets Brandon’s head between his legs and grabs onto the back of Brandon’s fight trunks. Gordon drops backwards, piledriving Brandon onto the table, which holds firm.

Gordon hasn’t been known to throw a piledriver often, but in a match like this, you do whatever it takes to win.

Gordon rolls off of the table and looks at Brandon, who is lying motionless on his back in the middle of the table. Gordon grins and walks back towards the ring. Gordon slides into the ring and begins to climb the turnbuckle. Gordon perches himself on the top rope, as the crowd cheers him on loudly. Gordon takes a deep breath and then launches himself off of the top of the turnbuckle, backflipping through the air, and connecting with a moonsault on Brandon. The force of the moonsault sends Brandon crashing through the announce table, as Gordon crashes down on top of him. Neither men move as the referee checks on both of them. The crowd cheers as Gordon slowly rolls over and pulls himself on top of Brandon and hooks his leg. The referee drops down for what will surely be the winning pinfall.

Magically, Brandon is able to lift his shoulder off of the ground! Gordon falls beside Brandon, in disbelief that Brandon was able to kick out of that. Gordon slowly gets to his feet and grabs Brandon, lifting him up to his feet. Gordon whips Brandon hard towards the steel steps. Brandon hits the steps knee-first and flips over the steps and onto the floor beside them, holding his knees in pain. Gordon walks over to Brandon and grabs him by the arm, dropping down and delivering a knee drop right to Brandon’s elbow joint. Gordon stands up and this time drops his knee right onto the chest of Brandon. Gordon mounts Brandon and begins to deliver punch after punch to Brandon’s already cut face. Gordon stands up and grabs Brandon, lifting him up to his feet. Gordon grabs the back of Brandon’s head and looks to deliver one huge knee strike to Brandon’s face, but Brandon gets his hands up just in time to block it.

Brandon grabs Gordon’s leg and takes him down to the ground. But Gordon easily manages to roll Brandon over and get on top, landing a few quick hammerfists before standing up. Gordon lifts Brandon up and kicks him in the stomach. Gordon drags Brandon over to the steel steps, and walks up on top of them. Brandon tries to fight back by throwing a few big left hooks, but Gordon shrugs off the shots and manages to knee Brandon in the stomach, doubling him over. Gordon gets Brandon’s head between his legs once more, and grabs the back of Brandon’s shorts. Gordon goes to deliver another piledriver to Brandon, but just before it’s too late, Brandon powers up in the air, sending Gordon flipping over and falling to the floor behind the stairs. Brandon falls to his knees on the stairs to regain his composure.

Brandon slowly gets up and climbs off of the steps. Brandon runs at Gordon and stomps on his head a few times as Gordon tries to get back to his feet. Brandon grabs Gordon by the head and falls backwards, delivering a swift DDT onto the floor. Gordon rolls around in pain as Brandon turns back towards the steps. Brandon walks over and lifts up the steel steps, holding them high above his head. Brandon waits for Gordon to get to his feet, as the crowd tries to warn Gordon. But no luck, as Gordon gets to his feet and turns around. Brandon runs at Gordon and drives the steel steps right into Gordon’s skull. Gordon immediately crumbles to the ground as Brandon lifts the steps up in the air once more, before throwing them down onto Gordon’s back. Brandon picks up the steps once more, smashes them into Gordon‘s back, and then throws them away.

Gordon is going to feel those shots for the rest of his life! Getting hit with steel steps is not fun, getting hit with them multiple times is a nightmare!

Brandon lifts Gordon up to his feet and throws a stiff right jab. Gordon throws a right haymaker, which Brandon ducks underneath. Brandon wraps his arms around the waist of Gordon and spins him around. Brandon lifts Gordon up and delivers a big german suplex onto the floor, but Brandon doesn’t release his grip. Brandon spins around, stands up, and delivers yet another german suplex to Gordon. One last time, Brandon stands back up, still holding onto Gordon, and lifts him up for a german suplex. Only this time, Brandon releases Gordon and tosses him across the floor and sending Gordon rolling up into the crowd barrier. Brandon gets to his feet and walks over to Gordon, stomping on his chest and then bringing his knee into Gordon’s neck, yelling at him about how Gordon will never be the best as long as he’s around. Brandon releases his knee and slaps Gordon in the face and picks him up to his feet. Brandon kicks Gordon in the stomach and delivers a massive flip piledriver onto the arena floor. Gordon’s head bounces off of the floor and Gordon lays motionless on the floor. Brandon lies on his back for about a minute, soaking in everything, before rolling over and hooking the leg of Gordon.

Brandon falls off of Gordon in shock, as the crowd cheers even louder. Brandon stands up and looks down at Gordon, his smirk gone and replaced with a look of rage. Brandon walks over to the ring and throws the cover up and begins searching for something underneath the ring. Brandon eventually pulls out a kendo stick, and walks back towards Gordon. Brandon waits for Gordon to get to his feet, and when he does, Brandon begins to whack away with the kendo stick. Gordon desperately tries to escape Brandon’s kendo stick attack, but Brandon is relentless in his attack. Brandon takes a few steps back, before running forward and bringing the kendo stick crashing down hard across the forehead of Gordon. Brandon laughs as Gordon loses his balance as his legs give out from underneath him, and he falls down to the ground. Brandon motions for Gordon to get to his feet, brandishing the kendo stick.

This doesn’t look good for Gordon. Not good at all.

Brandon watches as Gordon slowly gets to his feet. Once Gordon is completely on his feet, Brandon runs and goes to swing the kendo stick at Gordon’s stomach, but Gordon catches the kendo stick before it connects with his stomach. Gordon stares down Brandon, who looks on in shock, before Gordon kicks Brandon in the knee. As Brandon loosens his grip on the kendo stick, Gordon spins around beside Brandon and delivers a huge Russian leg sweep with the kendo stick across Brandon’s face. Brandon’s head bounces off the ground and Gordon rolls away, still holding the kendo stick. Gordon stands up and looks over at Brandon, who is trying to get to his feet. Gordon begins to wail on the back of Brandon with the kendo stick, not allowing Brandon to get up to his feet. Gordon eventually stops, takes the kendo stick, and snaps in half over his knee.

Where is Gordon getting all this energy from? I want to know, I need to get in on this

This isn’t something you get Tom. It’s something you’re born with. And let me tell you, both these men were born with it and then some

Gordon throws the two pieces of the broken kendo stick into the crowd, and then walks over to the ring, going underneath. Gordon begins throwing things out from underneath the ring, clearly looking for something. Gordon eventually stands up, pulling out a box of LED light tubes and walking over to Brandon. Gordon opens up the box and begins pulling out four large light tubes, waiting for Brandon to get to his feet. As Brandon slowly stands up, Gordon grabs one of the light tubes and smashes it over Brandon’s head. Gordon grabs another one and smashes it on Brandon’s head, and then grabs the final two and does the same with them. Brandon’s face is a crimson mess of blood as he stumbles around on his feet, stepping on the pile of broken glass. Gordon grabs Brandon and hooks his head, before delivering a snap suplex away from the glass onto the floor of the ring.

Brandon is a bloody mess! Those were FOUR light tubes, smashed over his head! Look at the blood, look at the cuts!

Brandon has been known to take unreal punishment before, but even he can’t withstand much more of this.

Gordon grabs Brandon and picks him up. Gordon drags Brandon over towards the tacks, and looks to lifts Brandon onto his shoulders. Brandon manages to push Gordon away from him and avoid being powerslammed onto the glass. Brandon stumbles over to the edge of the crowd barrier and grabs a bag that Gordon had thrown out from underneath the ring and tosses it into the ring. Brandon walks over and looks to slide back into the ring. Gordon runs and clubs Brandon in the back with his fist, causing him to slump up against the ring apron. Gordon grabs Brandon and dumps him into the ring. Gordon takes a moment to catch his breath, before sliding into the ring himself. As Brandon slowly tries to stand, Gordon yells SLIDE TACKLE and runs at Brandon and slide tackles him, knocking him back down to the ground.

A slide tackle by Gordon, and he’s regained control over Brandon thanks to those light tubes.

I just don’t understand how Brandon is still even trying to fight back in this match

Brandon drags himself to the ropes and pulls himself up to his feet, using the ropes to assist him. Gordon does the same, and sees Brandon limping towards the center of the ring. Gordon runs and jumps into the air, twisting and delivering a corkscrew elbow smash to the skull of Brandon, sending him right back down to the ground. Gordon takes a few steps back and springboards off of the bottom rope, hitting Brandon with a shining wizard. Gordon looks to hit the buzzsaw kick to complete the combo, but Brandon has already fallen down to the mat. Gordon walks over to the bag that Brandon threw into the ring. Gordon opens it and dumps whatever is in the bag all over the ring. The camera zooms in and the fans gasp when they see thousands of sharp tacks in a large pile all over the ring.

This is enough! Gordon is just trying to kill Brandon now. No more winning this match, this is about completely and utterly destroying his opponent

Calvin Jones
But that’s the only way he’s going to beat Brandon! He can’t just expect to pin him and that’ll be it. He has to destroy him!

Gordon walks over to Brandon and knees him in the head. Gordon continues to walk over to the corner of the ring. Gordon slowly climbs up to the top rope and balances himself there, taking some time to catch his breath while Brandon slowly stands up. Brandon gets to his hands and knees before slowly making his way up to two feet. Gordon motions for the crowd and jumps off of the turnbuckle aiming right for Brandon. Gordon lands on Brandon’s shoulders and looks to his a hurricanrana, but Brandon catches Gordon on his shoulders. Brandon spins around and delivers a huge powerbomb to Gordon, right onto the pile of tacks. The screen shows Gordon as he arches his back in pain, before collapsing on his stomach motionless, as you can see all the little tacks stuck in his back. Blood slowly drips down little tiny holes in Gordon’s back. Brandon rolls over onto the tacks himself so that he can hook Gordon’s leg and attempt to pin him.

Brandon literally cannot believe that Gordon kicked out of that pin attempt. Brandon slams his fists onto the mat, and then immediately begins brushing tacks off of those fists. Brandon stands up and walks over to the ropes and slides out of the ring. Brandon walks over to the ropes and climbs out onto the floor. Brandon walks over to the timekeeper’s booth and grabs two chairs. Brandon walks back to the ring and throws one of them into the ring. Brandon begins to climb onto the apron as Gordon slowly gets to his feet. Brandon stands up on the apron and turns around to face the crowd. Brandon pounds his chest in confidence before turning around. As Brandon turns around back towards the ring, Gordon runs full speed and dives through the ropes, spearing Brandon off of the apron and directly onto the pile of broken glass on the floor. On top of that, the chair Brandon was holding lands directly on his face. Gordon rolls over and covers Brandon, who is lying on the pile of glass, eyes closed and not moving.

The referee is saying Brandon kicked out before his hand hit the ground! That’s still a two count! Brandon is still alive!

Gordon stands up and stares down at Brandon in disbelief. He takes a few steps back as Brandon slowly gets to his feet. Gordon shakes his head as the crowd gasps when they see the blood and shards of glass sticking out of Brandon’s back. Brandon wipes blood from his face and grins at Gordon, and puts his fists up in the air. Gordon still can’t believe what Brandon is doing, and just stares at him. Gordon is finally awoken from his trance when Brandon punches Gordon right in the jaw. Gordon immediately responds with a few punches of his own. Brandon inhumanely eats the shots and just goes ham on Gordon, delivering easily three body shots per second to the stomach of Gordon, sending him into the defensive. Brandon takes a few steps back, before running forward and taking Gordon out with a massive clothesline.

I don’t think anyone has Tom. I feel honored to be even just a small part of this match

Brandon gets back to his feet and stares down the SWAT team with an evil grin on his face. It’s a terrifying scene as a completely bloody Brandon actually seems to scare some of the SWAT team with his grin. Brandon turns back to Gordon and knees him in the head. Brandon grabs Gordon and drags him into the ring and throws him in. Brandon reaches under the ring and pulls out something, before sliding back into the ring. Brandon holds up the cat o’ nine tails whip that he grabbed from underneath the ring as the crowd collectively gasps in shock, and then boos Brandon. Gordon slowly gets to his hands and knees and looks to get to his feet, only to be sent right back to the ground as Brandon cracks the whip across the back of Gordon. The whip isn’t very good, so it doesn’t completely cut open Gordon’s back, however there is still a cut opened from the whip. Brandon begins to rapidly whip Gordon’s back with the cat o’ nine tails, shredding Gordon’s back and opening up small cuts everywhere.

I don’t think I can watch this much longer. It hurt me just to see the pain these two are putting each other through

Brandon is taking a page out of Corey Casey’s book with that cat o’ nine tails whip. Gordon’s back is being shredded here, this is getting gruesome.

Brandon eventually throws the whip out of the ring and looks down at Gordon, who’s slowly rolling around on the mat, trying to get rid of the pain that’s clearly shooting through his back. Brandon lifts Gordon up by the head and holds him on his feet. Brandon pounds his heart and then points up to the sky in a rare sign of emotion. Brandon then hooks Gordon’s arms and twists him around and picks him up. Gordon is now upside down on Brandon’s back. Brandon runs and jumps, bringing Gordon with him and delivering the huge vertabreaker to Gordon. Brandon rolls over slowly and hooks the leg of Gordon, soaking in the moment of his victory.

NO! The referee says Gordon beat the three count! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!

Brandon stands up and immediately turns to the referee, who holds up two fingers. Brandon proceeds to tear the referee a new asshole in the middle of the ring, pushing the referee all the way into the corner. The referee holds his ground however, declaring only a two count. Brandon grabs the referee and throws him across the ring, before sliding out of the ring and onto the floor. Brandon walks over to the chair that’s still lying outside the ring and picks it up. Brandon slides back into the ring and walks towards Gordon. Brandon lifts the chair and goes to smash it across the face of Gordon, who is slowly getting to his feet. But out of nowhere, Gordon jumps and dropkicks the chair into Brandon’s face, causing him to drop it and fall down to the mat. Gordon collapses as well and the two men lie face down beside each other in the middle of the ring, symbolizing the amount of punishment that both these men have absorbed in the match.

Find me anyone else who can do what these two men are doing in that ring, and I’ll call you a liar! This is a fight between a legend and a sure-fire future legend!

The crowd cheers loudly as both men slowly get to their feet. Gordon moves towards Brandon and throws a big head kick, which Brandon blocks. Brandon fakes with a knee and delivers a huge superman punch that staggers Gordon. Brandon follows that up with a spinning roundhouse kick to the jaw of Gordon, sending him crashing to the mat. Brandon picks Gordon up and hooks his head. Brandon lifts Gordon up for a suplex, but then drops Gordon, catches him on his shoulder, and powerslams him, completing the Purifier. Brandon points to the crowd after the move, before walking over to the corner of the ring and slowly climbing up the top. Once there, Brandon keeps his balance as best he can, but actually falls off and onto the mat. Brandon regains himself and slowly climbs back up the turnbuckle. Brandon jumps off of the top rope and tries to deliver a shooting star frog splash to Gordon, who moves out of the way at the last second. Brandon hits the mat chest-first and rolls back up to his feet holding his chest in pain.

Brandon rarely goes for that move unless he’s desperate. That just shows you what he thinks he needs to do to get Gordon to stay down. But on a side note, did you catch another tribute to Corey Casey from Brandon, hitting that Purifier? Truly stupendous.

Gordon reaches down and grabs the chair as Brandon slowly turns around. Gordon blasts Brandon in the skull with the chair, immediately sending him crashing to the ground. Gordon places the chair over the head of Brandon, who isn’t moving at all as he lies on his back. Gordon grabs the other chair from off the ring mat and walks over to the corner of the ring. Now it’s Gordon’s turn to climb the turnbuckle. Gordon balances on the top rope as the crowd cheers him on. Gordon jumps off of the top rope, holding the chair underneath his leg. Gordon lands directly on top of the chair that’s placed on Brandon’s face. Brandon immediately rolls around on the mat clutching his face in pain. Gordon rolls around holding the bottom of his leg. Both men are in serious pain, although it’s clear that Brandon is in much worse shape at this point.

Gordon slowly gets to his feet and stumbles over to Brandon. Gordon falls down beside him, before slowly getting back to his feet and bringing Brandon up with him. Gordon grabs Brandon’s head and twists it around. Gordon lifts Brandon up and delivers a reverse falcon arrow, driving his knee into the skull of Brandon. Gordon falls to the ground as Brandon collapses beside him.

Gordon eventually crawls over to Brandon and uses most of the strength he has left to roll Brandon over. Gordon just collapses beside Brandon with an arm overtop of his chest as the referee drops down to count.

SOMEONE CALL MARVEL. WE’VE GOT TWO NEW SUPERHEROES THAT NEED MOVIES

Gordon rolls over and grabs his head in disbelief. He lies there for a minute, just wondering what he needs to do to beat Brandon. Gordon slowly stands up as he looks down at Brandon, who has turned onto his stomach and is slowly crawling to his hands and knees. Gordon takes a few steps back and crouches down, looking to hit the spear. As Brandon slowly gets to his feet, Gordon runs at him and dives in for the spear. Brandon gets his knee up and connects right on Gordon’s head, but it’s not as powerful as the one from earlier. Gordon stumbles backwards, still standing on his feet but clearly dazed. Brandon takes the opportunity to run and spear Gordon. The two men fly through the ropes and fall to the outside of the ring.

No doubt a tribute to his sometimes friend, sometimes enemy Chuck Matthews, with that Hollywood Impact spear

Brandon slowly stirs and crawls towards the ring. Brandon throws the cover up and goes underneath, looking for something. Gordon slowly gets to his feet and sees Brandon’s legs. Gordon grabs Brandon’s legs and drags him out from underneath the ring. As Gordon bends over to pick Brandon up, Brandon smashes Gordon in the stomach with a sledgehammer. Gordon lets go of Brandon and falls to one knee, clutching his stomach in pain, as Brandon stands up behind him. Brandon brandishes the sledgehammer as Gordon slowly gets to his feet. As Gordon turns around, Brandon runs and smashes the sledgehammer as hard as he can into Gordon’s skull. Gordon collapses to the ground, clearly unconscious. Brandon looks down at him and thinks about going for the pin, but decides against it and goes under the ring. Brandon emerges with a large red tank of gasoline in his hand.

A tank of gas, an announcers table? I think we better move Tom

Brandon walks over to the regular announce table and begins dousing it in gasoline. Brandon empties the tank on the table, before reaching onto the ground and picking up a lighter that he grabbed. Brandon flicks on the lighter and tosses it onto the table, causing it to shoot up into flames. Brandon turns back towards Gordon, with a terrifyingly sinister look on his face. Brandon grabs Gordon and throws his body into the ring. Brandon grabs Gordon and lifts him up onto his shoulder. Brandon climbs up to the top turnbuckle with Gordon still on his shoulder.

Brandon is going to end Gordon’s career and life with this move right here!

Brandon slowly lowers Gordon onto the turnbuckle, and positions Gordon’s head between his legs. Brandon looks to the crowd, who are dead silent in anticipation for what is about to happen. Brandon strikes his thumb across his throat, before jumping off of the turnbuckle and delivering a flip piledriver to Gordon right through the flaming table.

SOMEONE STOP THIS MATCH

Staff from the timekeeper’s booth immediately pull out fire extinguishers and douse the flames, but the damage has already been done. Once the fire has been extinguished, and the broken table parts been moved out of the way, the crowd can see Brandon and Gordon, both lying motionless on the ground. The referee runs over and begins to check on both of the men. For minutes the referee checks on them, and not once do either of them even twitch.

Neither man has moved in minutes. Not even stirred. Not even twitched.

I think the entire arena can hear us talk right now, that’s how quiet it is

Medical staff rush to the ring with two stretchers, and begin tending immediately to the two men. The crowd boos as slowly, both Brandon and Gordon are lifted onto stretchers. The medical staff begin to slowly wheel the two men away from the ring and towards the ramp, much to the chagrin of the fans, who make their displeasure known.

These fans may be booing, but I for one am happy. This match has been incredible, but the safety of these two wrestlers is the number one concern

Calvin Jones
I couldn’t agree with you more Tom. While I would love to see a winner tonight, I’d much rather see these two men live to fight another day

On the ramp, as the medical staff begin to pull the two men up, Brandon suddenly rolls over in his stretcher and reaches his arm over, placing it across the chest of Gordon. The crowd erupts when they realize what is happening, and the referee sees it too.

LOOK! BRANDON IS PINNING GORDON ON THE STRETCHER!

The referee runs over to the stretchers and begins to count the pin.

GORDON GOT PILEDRIVEN OFF OF THE TOP ROPE, THROUGH A FLAMING TABLE. HE WAS UNCONSCIOUS, ON A STRETCHER. HOW IN THE NAME OF ZEUS DID HE KICK OUT?!

Complete and utter pure instinct

The crowd collectively shits their pants in excitement as the referee holds up two fingers in the air. Brandon rolls off of the stretched and holds his hands in his face. Gordon slowly rolls onto his side, as the medical staff make it known to both men that they need to stop what they’re doing and end the match. Brandon pushes  the medical staff away from him, and looks over at Gordon, who is getting off of the stretcher. Gordon looks over at Brandon, and the two men nod and begin to slowly limp down the ramp towards the ring, neither man even looking at each other. The two men limp to opposite sides of the ring and slowly crawl into the ring. Brandon and Gordon stand up and stare each other down across the ring. The arena is dead silent as the two men slowly move their broken and battered bodies towards each other and tie up in the middle of the ring.

And after all of that, these two men have the respect to walk back to the ring and meet up again in the middle of that ring. They truly want to see who the best is.

Calvin Jones
Regardless of what a monster Brandon is outside of this ring, you can’t help but cheer for him when you watch him wrestle. A truly phenomenal man in that ring, and his counterpart is no worse

Brandon and Gordon throw punches at each other’s head at a rapid pace, neither making much of an effort to block anything. Brandon grabs Gordon and drags him down to the ground and tries to deliver a knee to Gordon’s skull. Gordon blocks the knee and stands back up to his feet. Brandon gets up and eats a big knee to the stomach from Gordon. Brandon doubles over and Gordon grabs his head and twists him around and lifts him up for a reverse falcon arrow. Brandon flips over the back and escaped the hold. Brandon kicks Gordon in the stomach and jumps over top of him, looking to hit the flip piledriver. Gordon manages to drop down and avoid Brandon’s grip, causing Brandon to flip over-top of Gordon and land on his feet behind him. Brandon and Gordon turn around and run at each other. The two men hit simultaneous clotheslines, sending both men crashing to the mat. The crowd cheers as they watch more proof at how dead even these two men are in their wrestling skills. Both men lay on opposite sides of the ring, trying to get to their feet after the double clothesline.

That double clothesline sums up this entire match. Both men giving it their all, and neither getting an advantage

Calvin Jones
These men are truly equals in their skill. Nothing separates either of them.

Brandon and Gordon both slowly get to their feet. Both men are clearly running on empty after this unbelievable match. Brandon and Gordon slowly drag themselves towards the middle of the ring. Gordon throws a slow right hook that Brandon eats as he knees Gordon in the stomach. Gordon doubles over and Brandon uses absolutely every little bit of strength that he has to grab onto Gordon and flip over top of him. This time, Gordon doesn’t have enough energy to block it and Brandon connects with the flip piledriver, spiking Gordon on his head

Gordon is out cold. Cover him Brandon!

Brandon falls to the ground face first as Gordon lays in the ring, completely unconscious. All Brandon has to do is cover Gordon, and he’ll become the new IWF World Heavyweight Champion. After a few minutes of the referee checking on both men, Brandon begins to stir. As Brandon begins to crawl over towards Gordon’s seemingly lifeless body, a voice echoes over the loudspeakers.

The cameramen, referee and Brandon all turn their attention towards the stage. Vinnie Paulos, the General Manager of Underground walks out from backstage, he stands atop the stage pacing back and forth.

That’s Vinnie Paulos, the GM of Underground!

Vinnie Paulos:
This is something that I just simply can’t allow! Poor Alex and Maya are no longer in the building, which makes me the last remaining authority figure left standing! And as such an authority figure, I’m afraid I must interrupt.

Brandon looks on at Vinnie, clearly confused as to what is happening. The SWAT team and FBI and DEA agents look on and do nothing they simply stand by.

Vinnie Paulos:
All the time I hear the same thing. Week in and week out I hear that Alex Dillinger is the man. People tell me what a great job he’s doing. Thats he’s changing the direction of this company for the better. That he’s undoing the things that Corey Casey and his sister did oh so many months ago. Well I’m sick of it! Whatever greatness you all see in Alex Dillinger, please, enlighten me. Because I don’t see it. He treats Underground like garbage, as if it’s a third rate show compared to Battlegrounds. He wouldn’t even give us the time of day if he didn’t have to. We have some truly great wrestlers on Underground, men and women who deserve to be seen by the world! And what do we get instead? My guys get snubbed for a man who wrestles once a month, who wrestled two matches and was immediately given the main event of the biggest show of the year. On top of that, he’s now wanted for murder, drug trafficking, and is the leader of one of the biggest drug cartels in the world. AND HE STILL GETS TO WRESTLE! Meanwhile, my guys get told to stand around, jam their thumbs up their asses, and watch what true talent looks like. This is not true talent. What we have is true talent.

Calvin Jones
You know, he makes a good point. Underground has some truly special wrestlers, but they don’t get nearly the respect they deserve

Tom Foolery
I don’t care! He’s ruining this match! Who does he think he is?!

Vinnie Paulos:
So what I’m out here today is to make a CHANGE. IWF needs to change and I’m the man that is going to bring forth such change. No longer will we remain quiet and allow Dillinger to ignore our requests. Gentlemen if you will...

Suddenly through the crowd comes Dean Vandal followed closely behind by Chris Cryptic, Kenneth Mathews, Pariah, Halestorm, Adorabelle, Gilbert Gold, Nathan Propaganda, Chris Mosh, Bryan Blaze and Joey Miles. The wrestlers slowly climb onto the ring apron and stare Brandon down, who tiredly looks at all of them, unsure of what to do. The wrestlers climb under the top rope and into the ring. The referee walks over to them to attempt to get them to leave, but Gilbert grabs him and delivers a huge exploder suplex, sending the referee flying out of the ring.

Vinnie Paulos:
I simply cannot allow Brandon Macdonald to win this match. A drug lord as our champion?! He’ll forfeit the title as soon as this match is over, because he’s being arrested! We need a champion who is here day in and day out. We need someone who respects the guys who do their part, something that he will never do. We need someone like Dean Vandal for IWF Champion.

With that, the men charge Brandon. As the men converge on him, Brandon desperately tries to fight back. Brandon pushes Dean off of him and throws a punch that staggers Kenneth. But Halestorm and Chris dive for his legs and take Brandon down to the ground. They begin stomping and punching away at Brandon. They pick Brandon up and whip him into the corner. Brandon collapses to the ground as Dean, Chris and Nathan hold him there. Kenneth takes a few steps back before running at Brandon and delivering a huge enziguiri to his head, knocking him down. Dean and Gilvert grab Brandon and lift him to his feet. Chris walks over to Brandon and hooks his leg and head. Chris yells loudly and hits an exploder suplex on Brandon.

What the hell are they doing?!

Chris calls that one the Master Exploder!

Are you ok with all of this happening?

I try to remain as impartial as I can, but I do have a soft spot for Underground wrestlers. Besides, he is right. If Brandon wins, he’s just going to have to relinquish the title.

The crowd boos loudly as Dean motions for his three comrades to pick Brandon up one last time. They do, and they hold Brandon up on his feet since he can’t even stand on his own. Dean raises his arms in the air, before jumping and connecting with a gamengiri to the jaw of Brandon, knocking him out.

I can’t believe my own ears and eyes

As Brandon crumples to the mat, Gordon slowly gets to his feet and pulls Dean’s shoulder causing Dean to turn around quickly. With a spinning back fist Dean instinctively hits Gordon in the temple dazing the champion. Dean throws Gordon on his shoulders and tosses him up kneeing him right in the jaw. Dean places Gordon’s arm across Brandon’s chest as Chris slides back into the ring unaware of what had happened to his friend. He drags the referee back into the ring. The Underground stars then stand together as Vinnie Paulos yells about how they are the future of the IWF. Together, they exit the ring and walk back up the ramp as the crowd boos loudly. None of the three men in the ring have moved even a little bit. Once the Underground wrestlers are gone, the crowd goes eerily silent as they wait for the referee to wake up.

Hey, he’s the authority figure, not you! Nothing we can do about it

After a few minutes, the referee begins to stir. The crowd holds their breath as the referee slowly sees Gordon’s arm on top of Brandon, and raises his arm in the air to begin the extremely slow count.

WHAT?!

YES! BRANDON KICKS OUT AND THIS MATCH CONTINUES!

The referee slowly holds two fingers in the air, signalling that Brandon indeed got his shoulder up before the referee counted the three fall. The crowd goes absolutely insane when they realize what just happened. Gordon is still face down in the ring, clearly unaware of anything that had just happened. Brandon is laying on his side, not moving, as if he only kicked out on instinct alone.

Brandon isn’t even awake, I’m not even sure he’s alive, but somehow, someway, he found the will to kick out of that cover by Gordon!

Calvin Jones
I don’t even think Gordon is aware of what just happened. He’s as out of it as Brandon!

As if on cue, the four Underground wrestlers storm back out onto the stage. However this time they are met on the ramp by three figures wearing Brandon’s old mask, who hop over the crowd barrier and stand in the way, blocking the entrance ramp. The figures remove their masks to reveal the faces, and mask, of Corey Casey, Molly Reid, and Ruben Ricardo Leon. The Underground wrestlers stare the three down, before Vinnie Paulos comes out and ushers his wrestlers backstage. They retreat, much to the excitement of the crowd.

Those three are some of Brandon’s closest friends in this business, and obviously they came here tonight to show their support for him, even in the midst of all the accusations against him.

Corey, Molly and Ruben turn their attention back to the ring, where finally, Brandon and Gordon are beginning to move. The crowd cheers loudly as Gordon is slowly crawling towards the ropes on one side of the ring, while Brandon is crawling to the ropes on the other side. The two men lift themselves up and hang on the ropes, trying to get their balance. Eventually they turn and look across the ring at each other. The two men slowly limp towards each other and throw punch after punch, neither putting anything behind the punches, and neither making any effort to block any of them. They just continue to trade and eat shots from each other, as the crowd roars in approval.

These two men are not holding anything back! It’s a fight to the finish!

Calvin Jones
The next person who hits any kind of significant move is going to win Tom, these are two men who have absolutely nothing left in the tank

Gordon is the first one to take a risk as he tries to throw a spinning back fist. Brandon manages to duck underneath the fist and then kicks Gordon in the stomach, once again doubling him over. Brandon jumps and flips over Gordon, trying to grab him in mid-flip. But somehow Gordon blocks it and grabs Brandon’s head in mid-air. As Brandon lands in front of Gordon, his back arches as Gordon squeezes his head tightly. Gordon uses every single bit of strength that he has left to lift Brandon up over his head with a reverse falcon arrow, before bringing Brandon down facefirst onto his knee. Gordon hits the mat as Brandon bounces up onto his feet, before falling backwards, completely out cold.

GORDON REVERSES THE CLICK CLICK BOOM AND HITS THE GUILLOTINE! THAT’S IT!

GORDON IS GOING TO RETAIN THE IWF CHAMPIONSHIP!

Gordon slowly crawls over to Brandon’s lifeless body, as the referee waits for the cover. Once Gordon gets close, he simply throws his arm over the chest of Brandon. The referee begins the pin count.

The referee signals for the bell for a final time

Gordon slumps over on top of Brandon, as the crowd goes absolutely batshit insane with excitement. The referee slowly slides out of the ring and grabs the IWF World Heavyweight Championship belt, and walks back into the ring. The referee takes one more look at the amount of blood and other weapons lying around the ring and shakes his head. The referee walks back towards Gordon and Brandon, neither of whom have moved one bit.

This could very well go down as the greatest match in IWF history, and we got to be a part of it

The referee bends down and tries to wake Gordon up and tell him what happened. The crowd continues to cheer loudly but slowly die down as the referee continues his work on Gordon. Eventually, after minutes of nothing, Gordon begins to get helped to his feet by the referee. The crowd erupts as the referee hands Gordon his title belt and explains what happened. Gordon finally realizes what’s going on, and grabs the title belt from the referee. The ref grabs Gordon’s hand and raises it to the sky as he holds the title up in the air with the other. The crowd roars in approval as Gordon staggers to the ropes and holds on to keep his balance. Gordon slowly stumbles over to the corner and climbs onto the second rope, using one hand to hold onto the top rope and keep his balance, while the other hand is used to hold his IWF Championship high in the air.

Gordon deserves all the credit in the world for winning that match and retaining his title, and I congratulate him with all my heart. But let’s not forget that Brandon had this match won if it weren’t for the Underground wrestlers coming in and preventing it.

Calvin Jones
Very true, but do you think Gordon asked them to? He probably doesn’t even know what happened, he was out cold the whole time. And in the end, Gordon is the one with the title, so there’s no use whining about what could have been.

Gordon slips and almost falls off the turnbuckle but catches himself. He turns around to see Brandon slowly pulling himself to his feet across the ring. Brandon looked in bad shape. His back was covered in cuts and his entire body was coated in blood. His face was a dark shade of red as he wiped the blood from his face and walked towards Gordon, who stood still across the ring. Gordon and Brandon stared each other down for a few moments, both men breathing heavily. Finally, Brandon reached out and extended his hand. Gordon looked at the hand and then at Brandon, before reaching out and shaking Brandon’s hand. The screen catches Brandon telling Gordon ‘Thank You’, before pulling him into a hug and whispering into Gordon’s ear. The camera tries to catch what Brandon is whispering to Gordon, but can’t get close enough.

Tom Foolery
A rare handshake and congratulations from Brandon. I wonder what he meant when he said ‘Thank you’?

Calvin Jones
I don’t know. What do you think he’s telling Gordon right now?

Tom Foolery
I have no idea. We’ll have to wait and see if Gordon shares Brandon’s final words to him with the rest of the world.

After the hug ends, Brandon grabs Gordon’s arm and raises it into the air as confetti falls from the sky over top of the ring. The crowd cheers in approval as Brandon lets go of Gordon and falls back into the ropes, catching himself on them and clapping as the crowd chants.

He was the underdog. People called him a transitional champion. People said he would never be able to hang with the top level of this company. But Gordon proved them all wrong. He retained his championship, on the biggest stage of them all, against the greatest wrestler in IWF history!

This is the last time anyone will ever doubt Gordon Fury again. He truly is the best in the world after tonight’s match.

Gordon wipes a few tears from his eyes as he raises the title high in the air with both hands and the crowd roars in approval. Gordon slowly makes his way to the ropes and slides out of the ring. Gordon immediately collapses to the ground, as the referee runs over and puts Gordon’s arm around his shoulder, helping him walk up the ramp. At the top of the ramp, Gordon pushes off from the referee and turns around towards the fans. Gordon falls to his knees and holds the belt high in the air, as fireworks erupt behind him. As the fireworks end, Gordon slowly turns around and the referee helps him get backstage.

Gordon just doesn’t want to leave the arena. Listen to these fans go berserk. They’re in love with Gordon. And you can be sure he loves them right back.

He needs to go backstage though. Can you imagine the injuries that he is suffering from right now? I would be shocked if we see Gordon in many matches from now until Fallout. He definitely will need some time to recuperate.

The screen turns back to the ring, where Brandon still stands. He walks into the middle of the ring as the SWAT team and agents surround it. As the SWAT team members climb into the ring, Brandon dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head, grinning the entire time. The SWAT team stormed him and forced his hands behind his back. They pulled out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed Brandon, before picking him up and carrying him out of the ring. Half of the crowd was chanting ‘THANK YOU BRANDON’ while the other half was booing heavily.

You’ve got the fans who realize that this is Brandon’s final match in IWF history, and are thanking him for all that he’s done. But you’ve also got the other fans who will never cheer for him after what he’s done and become.

Personally, I don’t condone anything he’s done or been accused of doing outside of this ring. But when the lights are on and Brandon’s in that ring, there’s nobody that I’d rather watch. So I will thank him for what he’s done for this company.

Calvin Jones
I’m right with you there Tom. This man is a wrestling legend. Suspend all of what he’s done outside the ring, and just appreciate him for what he’s done inside of it.

As the SWAT team forces Brandon out of the ring, and the FBI agents walk over to him and start to guide Brandon backstage, Molly Reid runs over to him and kisses him before being tackled off of him by one of the SWAT team guys. Brandon looks over at Corey and Ruben, who are standing on the ramp staring at him. Brandon grins again and nods at the two of them, who nod back. Brandon turns around and is continued to be forced up the ramp. A riot team runs out from backstage and surrounds all the officers as fans begin to throw debris at Brandon and the agents and some fans actually start storming over the crowd barrier. The riot team tries to calm the entire arena down as the SWAT team and agents quickly usher Brandon backstage and out of sight for the final time.

I couldn’t agree more. That’s it for us folks, Gordon is champion, Brandon is gone forever, and we’ll see you in two weeks when Battlegrounds resumes its weekly schedule! Goodnight world!

As the riot in the arena continues, the screen cuts backstage to a shot of the SWAT team leading Brandon down the hallway. The entire IWF roster stands in a line, watching in shock and surprise and some anger as Brandon is marched down in front of them in handcuffs. Brandon just looks at all of them and grins, as he’s being pushed towards the parking lot of the arena. The pay-per-view slowly fades out with a final shot of Brandon Macdonald, international drug lord, being taken away in handcuffs, never once dropping his smile.
